Costume Design and Construction
Sleepy Hollow
18th century gown and cloak designed and made to be worn in a television production of Sleepy Hollow. Cloak contains grey and red shot silk velvet which has been ombre dyed, embossed, embroidered and felted to give unique optical illusion of trees and lined with red and black fur.

A replica I created after seeing original gown in a museum containing over 150m of tulle, 200m of ribbon and a cage bodice.

Fibre optic dress
Inspired by Cinderella
I was contacted by a company who produces fiberoptic fabric to make a dress using their fabric in order to promote their brand. I was given free reign with the brief and decided to make a dress inspired by the original Walt Disney Cinderella dress. I only had 5 days to make this dress so it was a good practice for working with new materials and learning quickly.

Anastasia's coronation dress
Inspired by the film 'Anastasia'
I wanted to make this dress inspired by Anastasia's coronation dress but with a more historically accurate shape using Russian court dress as a base for my design and making.

'Scarlett Witch'
A dress inspired by the marvel studios film 'Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness'. I used lots of new techniques in this dress including silk painting, unique seams, fabric painting and draping.
Barbie Princess Charm School
A dress inspired by the corresponding barbie film. This dress was challenging to make due to the gemstone bodice which is made using iridescent vinyl ironed on to the bodice to create the seamless gemstone effect.
Cinderella (2015)
One of my most challenging projects inspired by the 2015 Cinderella dress designed by Sandy Powell. This dress required lots of engenering (hoop skirt),and working with difficult materials including chiffon, organza and silk crepeline.
Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus
A short dress designed for ice skating inspired by the popular barbie film. The aims for this dress were practicality and that the performer was able to properly move and perform in the dress.
Elsa's spirit dress
Dress inspired by the Disney film frozen. This dress featured complicated dye work, over 10,000 rhinestones and the layering of velvet, sequin fabric, satin and other difficult to work with materials.
Red carpet dress
I made this dress for a model based on a runway dress with alterations including better top coverage, skirt shape and structured top.
Green fairy ballgown
A dress I made for a client to be worn to a fairytale inspired ball being hosted in London. The dress had to be made with no fittings using only measurements provided which was a challenge and had a short deadline of 2 days.
Mirror Mirror
I made this costume replica focusing on screen accuracy from the film 'Mirror Mirror'. This project feature matching fabrics, specific dye work, and creating patterns that matched the existing costume as closely as possible.
'If Lady Gaga went to the Met Gala'
A dress made inspired by the Met Gala theme 'Guided Glamour' as if it were to be worn by Lady Gaga. Featuring silk painting, beadwork, leather work, difficult materials and complicated structures.
Elena of Avalor
A ballgown featuring a 2 meter long train, over 200 hand sewn flowers, over 10,000 rhinestones and 15m of velvet.
